At 8:30 AM sharp, we discovered our driver was missing. No show. No heads-up. And on the docket? A major delivery of 80 Dubai chocolate bars that HAD to arrive at MCM Macau by 10:30 AM.
Panic immediately set in. But here’s where the story gets good.
The Great Friday Rescue Mission
One of our bakers who, by the way, was celebrating her birthday that day didn’t hesitate. Instead of letting the situation spiral, she jumped into action: hopping into an Uber, then a ferry, and then literally sprinting the last stretch with the precious cargo in hand.
Yes, all while being the birthday girl. Talk about main character energy.
